Pollinator Power

In partnership with the URI Extension Outreach Center, Metro Providence will be hosting Noreen Kepple, a URI Master Gardener. 

Noreen Kepple has been gardening on her Stonington property for well over thirty-five years. Growing flowers to attract pollinators which in turn pollinate her vegetables, fruits and fresh herbs has been a wonderful and rewarding experience. Noreen received her URI Master Gardener’s certificate in 2012 and has been sharing her knowledge about the importance of pollinators and gardening in general ever since. The vital link between providing a healthy habitat for pollinators and our own food systems has become a mission that Noreen is passionate about. “Pollinator Power” is just one of the many topics Noreen likes to talk about to gardeners and others to educate them on healthy ecosystems.
